More Drug of Art x MAF workshops in Eastbourne

Langney Primary Academy in Eastbourne was the latest venue for our Drug of Art  x Michael Aldrich Foundation workshops. Led by artist and experienced art facilitator Gina Leonard, sixty five students from Year 5 explored abstract art, learning to use view finders and developing their drawing skills in charcoal and chalk pastels along the way.

Drug of Art workshop examines Expression through Abstraction

The next workshop as part of the Drug of Art x Michael Aldrich Foundation collaboration encouraged pupils from St Gregory's Catholic School in Tunbridge Wells to explore expression through abstraction. Led by artist Becky Hancock, the students aged 14 to 17 created charcoal, abstract and expressive drawings, exploring line, shape, adding, taking away and layering.

Jack Durling Masterclass on paper sculpting

The Drug of Art project features a series of Masterclasses to encourage young people to be creative and develop new skills and techniques.
