It is important to us that the work of the Michael Aldrich Foundation reflects our charity’s values and ethos.
The Michael Aldrich Foundation is closely aligned with its constitutional partner, the University of Brighton. Its board is made up of a combination of trustees from the University and independent trustees. As such, our values seek to mirror those of the University.
Our values:
- Inclusivity – A commitment to developing and nurturing a diverse community. We have imbedded this in our activities by establishing an independent EDI monitoring group to inform and advise us.
- Sustainability – This is evidenced through the environmental sustainability of our activities, a stable financial position and the ongoing support we give our community. We have a commitment to 360-degree learning which means that everyone involved in our programmes should be encouraged and supported to develop their own practice and skill sets.
- Creativity – Nurturing creativity is key to ensuring we continue to grow and develop our activities. We are committed to creating new and exciting opportunities for our community.
- Partnership – This means working with our constitutional partner, the University of Brighton and other charities and organisations who share our values and goals.
